The hours that an employee works determines whether they are fulltime or part time employees. Each company policies are different when determining whether an employee is fulltime or part time.

Temporary employment can be hired to assist employers to meet business demands yet allow the employer to avoid the cost of hiring a regular employee. Permanent employment with a company means that the work hours are more steady and the job can be more reliable.
