What kind of jobs do we offer?
The receptionist is typically the front desk person at a company. He or she is there to greet clients, answer phones and direct calls, collect and distribute mail and keep records. The receptionist may also do many of the same duties as an administrative assistant.
Administrative Assistants perform a large number of tasks for an office or a specific employee. These may include: inter-office communication, planning and scheduling meetings and appointments, office organization, photocopying, filing, project management, research, travel arrangements, and more. A good Administrative Assistant should be familiar with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word, and Excel.
An office assistant is a general assistant and may not necessarily work for one person specifically. His or her duties may include: customer support, accounting, data entry, clerical work, running errands, organization, and others.
An executive assistant is very similar to an administrative assistant with the exception that he or she would be the primary assistant for a top executive in a company, like a CEO or President. The Executive Assistant is often seen as a “gatekeeper”. He or she is expected to screen calls, maintain the Executive’s schedule, as well as many typical office duties. Another way that an Executive Assistant may differ from an Administrative Assistant is that he or she is expected to know a certain amount of business expertise and is often a representative of the Executive.
